Review: Gold Medals for Outstanding Achievements in the Preservation of Historic Monuments in Europe
Outstanding achievements in European heritage conservation have their own reward: the denkmal Gold Medal.
The denkmal Gold Medal is acknowledged as a “Seal of Quality” for top achievements in heritage conservation and restoration in Europe.
An independent jury of international historic conservation experts chooses the winners. The denkmal Gold Medal is a highly coveted prize awarded to ten denkmal exhibitors exclusively for products and services presented at the trade fair.
The denkmal Gold Medal has celebrated its 11th anniversary at denkmal 2016, where the expert jury awarded the winners of this unique European Gold Medal created by acclaimed master engraver Helmut König († 2017) from Zella-Mehlis, Germany.
The awards ceremony for the ten denkmal 2016 Gold Medals was held on Saturday, 12.11.2016, directly in the INFO-FORUM stage area of Hall 2.
